It’s been many years and significant life changes since I last wrote in this blog. However, the siren call of the Camino beckons me forth and I shall heed her once again. My knapsack is weighed down with 20lbs of necessities and I am hiking through sleet, snow and winter wind chill to prepare to walk the Camino Norte in April. This time will be a little different as I will not be alone, but accompanied by my partner, Martin. I am excited to return to the Camino and share it with my “Albatross mate”. We love travel and the adventure of discovering new tastes and experiences. It’s one thing to tell others about your trip, but to share an adventure – the good, the bad, the ugly ( mostly when I am hangry or tired) , takes things to another level.
